The Full & Part Time Haus Crew

Elexis Schroder

Founder, Head of the Haus

Elexis Schroder

Founder, Head of the Haus

Elexis has built a reputation as a strategic marketing and communications leader with more than 20 years experience in agency settings and within a growing CPG company. She specializes in developing and implementing integrated, brand-building programs that authentically share a company’s mission to drive trial, sales and loyalty. Elexis still gets giddy thinking about her award-winning work on a Tide new product launch that kicked off with the biggest-ever pajama party at the Plaza in New York City; the October Fairtrade Month campaign that featured oversize murals of real-life farmers at grocery stores across the U.S.; and the Galentine’s Day event in New York City that brought together editors and their Galentine’s for a night of wine and chocolate with Lily’s. Elexis is known for building camaraderie and buy-in across teams to get things done, all while making people laugh along the way. She founded SchroderHaus based on the belief that there is a better way to serve purpose-driven organizations. Today, as the Head of the Haus, Elexis aims to inspire the SchroderHaus crew to deliver kick-ass work daily, and to be a trusted advisor to her clients. Elexis is an active advocate for food justice and our need to proactively create a brighter and more sustainable future for the next generation. She currently sits on the strategic marketing communications committee for Metro Caring and is an active volunteer with Naturally Colorado.

Why I love what I do:

I have the special privilege to creatively problem solve for our clients while also providing opportunities for our kick-ass crew to learn and grow. What keeps me motivated is seeing a compelling client program launch, celebrating wins as a team and watching those around me succeed.

The foods and beverages I can't live without are:

Kite Hill queso on anything, Sweet Loren’s chocolate chip cookies, Daily Harvest smoothies (with Justin’s Nut Butter added in), Athletic Brewing craft beers and a spicy tuna hand roll. A good breakfast sammy is also a sure way to start my day off with a smile.

If I could have any superpower, it would be:

Slowing down the aging process. Not because I don’t want to grow old myself – I’m much more of an acupuncture than Botox person – but more so to slow down my son’s aging. Time really is flying by and I am holding on to each adventure and snuggle sesh along the way!

What instantly makes my day better is:

A good sweat sesh! Whether I hop on the Peloton bike, take a strength or HIIT class, or head out on a walk with our dog, Rocky, movement both clears negative energy and reminds me of the strength I have to tackle anything that’ll come my way!

The three words that best describe me are:

Driven. Empathetic. Imaginative.

Where you'll find me outside of work:

Adventuring in the Rocky Mountains with my family; sampling a new workout class; roaming the halls of the grocery store to discover new delights (the Haus crew benefits from the long excursions I take to Sprouts’ new products section); or trying out new restaurants with friends.
